Journalism

My work in photojournalism from 2016-2019 got me out into the neighborhoods of Philadelphia, meeting folks from all walks of life. This work allowed me to explore issues of urban development with a front row seat to the impact on everyday people inspired me to move into urban planning. Now, my favorite way to get to know a place is still by walking around with my camera, and I use my storytelling and community engagement skills to make the planning process more accessible to the public.

Two of my favorite journalism projects are linked here, and I continue to work on a few longterm projects.
